It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the record chasers, are the only things left for a squad that has won it all.

It needed up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their hitters to maintain a record if never given the possibility.

Some will argue the case for championship match pressure. Different voices suggest with the test that comes when facing a record target and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this ton was considerably tougher to anticipate.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she topped the run-scoring charts, but this performance followed six innings in India over the past few weeks in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, should it happen, we know we can achieve it."

That comment will be the final thing competing nations at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this triumph following win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.
