The individual linked to the weekend's deadly violence at Brown University reportedly committed suicide on Thursday night, according to law enforcement.

He was found at a storage location on Thursday evening, according to information from an enforcement source. The same individual is also suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a home in the Boston area.

“He ended his own life this evening,” said the chief of the Providence police department during a news briefing.

The chief named the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.

This news follows a significant police operation at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Witnesses reported seeing multiple armed officers entering the premises.
